I’ve been hooked on Konqueror for awhile, I can browse my hard-drive, a web page, an open picture or text document all within the tabs of one master program. It also has an alternate way to access and launch your programs….can get/view man files…..its the total kubuntu swiss army knife off file management. Dolphin to me is just an unused file on my ‘puter. Peace out dudes.

I use screen on a regular basis but to open an application from terminal but leave the same terminal window open for new commands. that way you don’t bind your terminal to that app which will force you to close the app to release the terminal. The command is “$ screen -d -m “. Like: screen -d -m gedit notes.txt
