Register Your Ubuntu (and Linux)

Community is a big part of Ubuntu. Ubuntu’s more than just an operating system. It has an enormous group of individuals closely tied. That community continuously grows as more and more people try it and begin using it. It’s interesting to see how the community expands with each installation. To help us see that growth, I encourage every Ubuntu user to register at the Ubuntu Counter themselves and their machines. It also helps us see trends in version usage. While you’re at it, I suggest registering at the Linux Counter.
